French Colonial Villas
This elegant five star resort consists of seventeen old colonial villas, built by the French in the 1930s, oozing old world style and charm, sympathetically and stylishly renovated. No villa is the same, and all rooms have working fireplaces. While the resort has a beautiful restaurant, the in-villa dining service is hard to resist. The resort also has a lovely heated outdoor pool and a well equipped gym. What about a romantic picnic by the lake? The resort will prepare it for you, and take you there in their 1935 Citreon convertible. This is simply the best place to stay in Dalat.

Lakeside Tranquility
We love staying at this tranquil hotel, right on the shores of a lake in Dalat amongst amazing Highland countryside. Set in beautiful gardens, it is a short drive from the city (about 8km) and has an extremely quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with just 10 rooms. Each spacious room is well equipped with king-size bed or large twin beds, ensuite bathroom, sofa or armchairs, TV, fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. The stunning scenery of the location can be seen from all rooms, framed by the extremely large windows - and each room has a balcony too.

City Colonial
This 140 room hotel in the heart of Dalat opened in 1932, and has a colonial feel throughout. We recommend taking a suite in this hotel, excellent value and stylishly decorated and furnished with an antique Bauhaus era feel. The restaurant for the hotel, actually a separate building across the street and resembling a chic french style 1920s cafe, is wonderfully atmospheric and has an excellent menu. The hotel also features a gym, tennis courts and spa.
